Tether Blacklist · Smart-Contract Check

Tether (USDT) Blacklist Address Checker

A direct query to the smart contracts of both major stablecoins: USDT on TRON, Ethereum and Solana, and USDC (Circle) across six EVM networks. We ask each issuer's own contract whether it has blocked the address (on Solana, whether it is frozen through the freeze authority). That is the primary source, the same contract that physically blocks transfers. Free, no registration.

QUERY: USDT + USDC blacklist / freeze · TRON · ETHEREUM · SOLANA · 6 EVM

The same check right in Telegram: send an address to the bot and get the verdict. Handy before every P2P deal.

When to check an address

What the free check covers

Tether blacklist

A direct question to the USDT contract on TRON and Ethereum. On Solana we check whether the token account is frozen through the freeze authority.

Circle blacklist

Whether the address is blocked for USDC on Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism and Avalanche.

Sanctions

The Chainalysis sanctions oracle on six EVM networks, and the official OFAC list for TRON and Solana.

Scam databases and reports

The open ScamSniffer database and user reports. We show reports as a signal, not as proven fact.

Freeze date

If the address is on the Tether blacklist, we show the event date from the freeze corpus we have kept since March 2025.

Address passport

Age, USDT balance, recent transfers, number of senders, and signs such as a new address or pass-through behaviour.

How this check works

  1. You enter a TRON (T…), Ethereum (0x…) or Solana address; the network is detected automatically.
  2. The server makes a direct call to the USDT smart contract's blacklist function via public blockchain nodes. No intermediaries, no databases.
  3. The contract's answer is binary: the address either is on the issuer's blacklist or is not. A primary-source fact, not an estimate.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from an AML check?

AML services compute a probabilistic risk score over the transaction graph. Our checker asks the USDT contract itself whether the issuer blocked the address. A binary fact. A clean answer here does not guarantee a low risk score on an exchange; those are different control layers.

The address is blacklisted. Are the funds lost forever?

Not necessarily, but the odds are low. Tether lifts restrictions rarely, usually at the request of a law-enforcement agency; a request needs a forensic report, an affidavit and a Source of Funds. Months of work with no guarantees, but the path exists. See the USDT restriction guide.

Do you store the addresses I check?

Yes, anonymously (address, network, result, time), for aggregated freeze statistics. Blockchain addresses are public anyway; unless you are signed in, the checker collects no personal data; once signed in, a check is linked to your account.

Which networks are supported?

USDT on TRON, Ethereum and Solana. The USDC blacklist is checked on six EVM networks. The network is detected automatically from the address format.

What does the green zone mean?

We found no markers in the sources we checked. It is neither a guarantee that the address is clean nor a forecast of what an exchange will decide.

Can I keep an eye on an address?

Yes. After a check you can put the address on watch in Telegram: we check it daily and message you if it lands on a blacklist or under sanctions. Free, up to 5 addresses.
